Snappy Driver Version R1809
Snappy Driver is a collection of Laptop / PC drivers that automatically detect and install hardware and software that you use accurately.
BadPointer (software developer of Snappy Driver Installer) previously worked on DriverPack Solution (DPS). DPS is written in java, which is very slow and has many shortcomings & limitations.
SDI was originally developed as a BadPointer solo product. DPS rewrote it from scratch in C and C ++. But in the end it was decided to promote it, regardless of DPS and with a different name.
This installer uses a driver from Driverpack, but uses a better algorithm, so it is more suitable for the hardware used. By using the same driver that the Driverpack has, guarantee the complete drivers provided. In addition, the use of computer resources to run this application is quite low. Its use is also more user friendly, so it can be easily run by even novice users.
The difference between Snappy Driver & DriverPack Solution lies in the speed of detection and composition of the installed program. Where Snappy Driver Installer is superior in speed of driver detection and will not install junkware applications compared to DriverPack Solution and other similar applications.
It is still recommended that you install the drivers from the hardware manufacturer that you are using, using this application is only the final solution if you don't find the driver for the hardware you are looking for.
